Paramedic Scholarships
STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP FOR PARAMEDIC COURSE
Bangladesh has a lack of qualified health professionals to provide quality health services, especially in rural areas. The rural underprivileged people are mainly dependent on unskilled medicine sellers for their primary health care services which is a matter of great concern for all.
In such a context, Mati Bangladesh started an initiative with friends and partner organizations entitled “Job creation for young adolescent girls and boys, enrolment in vocational training institutes and practical training at Mati health care project in the north of Bangladesh” in January 2016.
Numerous students already finished the Paramedic course with the monthly scholarship provided by Mati, partner organizations, and some friends of Mati. In the present session, we are also supporting several ongoing paramedic students.
You can also be part of it, by sponsoring a student for Paramedic Course. Also, you are most welcome to invite your friends on participating in this good cause. OBJECTIVES
The main objective of the project is to create an opportunity for adolescent girls and boys to become health professionals after taking proper education from designated health training institutes on the one hand and practical knowledge & experiences from the local government hospitals on the other. The students are enrolled for two years’ long Community Health Worker (CHW) course where they have theoretical classes two days per week. The rest of the days the students work with the MPHCC team.
